Elucidation of Wat Phra Dhammakaya

It is the 16th day that Wat Phra Dhammakaya’s Human Rights has been violated.

(1) Clarification on the death of Miss Pattana Chiangraeng

1.1 Phra Maha Noppon contacted DSI officials at 1.31PM, after recognition of the death, and was in the last group that went there on purpose of coordination.

1.2 From the deceased person’s Line, she could contact and notify another person about her need of inhaler because she was behind the temple’s area, approximately 1.5 kilometers away, so she got some phone signal, though it was weak and unstable. But in the temple’s area, a contact is very difficult to make and more likely not working.

1.3 1669 Paramedics was contacted after the Ratanavej Paramedics was stuck at checkpoints and blocked gates.

1.4 We insist that the residence of the deceased person is located outside the temple, but is still in the controlled area according to article 44.

1.5 We insist that the deceased person was in the medical field, so obviously, she perceived her own illness well, that was the reason why she asked for “inhaler” from her nurse friend to cease her acute symptom. Unfortunately, her friend was stuck at checkpoints because it was in the controlled area according to article 44 and had to go through 5 checkpoints and the phone signal was cut off due to article 44, and that caused her death.

(2) The case of Klongchan Credit Union Cooperative

2.1 Luang Por was accused of collaboration with Mr. Supachai because Mr. Supachai made donations with the cooperative’s money, but a judgment has not been made for this case, but the arrest warrant was issued due to the reason that he failed to comply with a summon because he was seriously ill and could not go.

2.2 For this situation, the temple’s followers set up “an aiding fund for the cooperative” which paid back the same amount of money, i.e. 1,057 millions Baht, as the donations Mr.Supachai made to the temple. Besides, other than the temple’s followers, the cooperative has not been aided from anybody else. On top of that, DSI and persecutor also seized 3,800 millions Baht that should be returned to the cooperative. It is heard that the cooperative is getting ready to file a criminal lawsuit if they do not return the money they seize.

2.3 The government said that they would give 10,000 millions Baht to aid the cooperative and that aiding has not been done up to now.

2.4 After receiving the monetary aiding from the temple’s followers, the cooperative’s damage from the donations Mr. Supachai made to Luang Por was completely solved and cleared; therefore, the cooperative withdrew the lawsuit since they were no longer injured from that part.

2.5 Until now, the government had thrown in no less than 48 millions Baht worth of Budget (3 millions Baht per day) to bring forces in to arrest Luang por Dhammajayo, claiming on the damages of the cooperative’s members, which no longer relate to Luang Por, An operation like this is done because of any hidden intention by the government or not? Is it really done for the good sake of the cooperative’s members or for any other hidden intention? The government, please answer.

2.6 Why don’t the government spend this over 48 millions Baht worth of budget to aid the suffering members of the cooperative which will partly benefit the cooperative, is there anything hidden behind?

2.7 Officials from the military and the police have duties to protect the country and people; but nowadays, many forces besieging Wat Phra Dhammakaya do nothing of that to help people. In contrast, there was an incident that those forces blocked an ambulance heading out to save a patient’s life in the controlled area and that lifesaving ambulance was delayed until the patient died and switched from a sick person to become a deceased person.

(3) Movement from international organization

3.1 About the meeting of the Global Buddhist Leaders organization in Busan, South Korea, we would like to inform that the case of Wat Phra Dhammakaya was not in the normal agenda, but it existed in the special agenda and was brought up to discuss urgently and broadly because Wat Phra Dhammakaya is a Thai Buddhist organization whose Human Rights is gravely violated,

3.2 Now, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of England has responded to Wat Phra Dhammakaya’s case and informed that they would transfer this case to a concerned person, i.e. English ambassador in Thailand, and the minister of Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Alok Sharma MP, would talk about the Human Rights and freedom of religion with Gen. Prayut Chan-Ocha later.

3.3 Buddhist organization of Europe insisted that they did file a petition to the United Nations (UN) at UN Office of High Commissioner about the Human Rights violation that happened to Wat Phra Dhammakaya from the government’s article 44.

(1) ชี้แจงกรณีการเสียชีวิตของนางสาวพัฒนา เชียงแรง
1.1 พม.นพพร ติดต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ dsi เวลา 13.31 น. ซึ่งเป็นเวลาหลังจากที่ทราบว่าเสียชีวิตแล้ว และเป็นชุดสุดท้ายที่ตามไป เพื่อช่วยประสานงานความเรียบร้อย
1.2 ไลน์ของผู้เสียชีวิตที่สามารถติดต่อและแจ้งขอ “ยาพ่น” นั้น เพราะอยู่พื้นที่หลังวัด ห่างออกไปประมาณ 1.5 ก.ม. พอมีสัญญาณอยู่บ้าง แต่ก็ขาดๆหายๆ แต่ถ้าในพื้นที่วัด ติดต่อยากมาก ส่วนใหญ่ติดต่อกันไม่ได้
1.3 หน่วยกู้ชีพ 1669 ที่ได้รับการติดต่อนั้น เป็นช่วงหลังจากที่หน่วยกู้ชีพรัตนเวชของวัดไม่สามารถไปได้ เนื่องจากติดด่าน และประตูทางออกต่างๆที่ถูกปิด
1.4 ยืนยันว่า พื้นที่พักของผู้เสียชีวิต อยู่นอกเขตวัด แต่อยู่ในพื้นที่ควบคุมพิเศษ ตาม ม.44
1.5 ยืนยันว่า ผู้เสียชีวิตเป็นบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ ย่อมทราบอาการป่วยของตนเอง จึงได้ร้องขอ “ยาพ่น” จากเพื่อนพยาบาล เพื่อมาระงับอาการที่เกิดขึ้นอย่างกะทันหัน แต่เสียเวลาติดด่านเจ้าหน้าที่ เพราะเป็นพื้นที่ควบคุมพิเศษตาม ม.44 ต้องผ่านถึง 5 ด่าน ประกอบกับถูกตัดสัญญาณโทรศัพท์ เพราะ ม.44 จึงเป็นเหตุให้เสียชีวิต

(2) กรณีสหกรณ์เครดิตยูเนี่ยนคลองจั่น
2.1 หลวงพ่อถูกกล่าวหาว่าร่วมกันกับนายศุภชัย เพราะนายศุภชัยนำเงินสหกรณ์มาบริจาค แต่เรื่องนี้ยังไม่มีการตัดสินว่า ผิดหรือถูก หมายจับที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะ “ขัดหมายเรียก” เนื่องจากอาพาธหนักไปไม่ได้
2.2 กรณีนี้ศิษยานุศิษย์ ได้ตั้ง “กองทุนเยียวยาช่วยเหลือสหกรณ์” เท่ากับจำนวนเงินที่คุณศุภชัยนำมาบริจาค จำนวน 1,057 ล้านบาท เรียบร้อยแล้ว และนอกเหนือจากศิษย์วัดพระธรรมกายแล้ว สหกรณ์ก็ไม่ได้รับเงินช่วยเหลือจากใครอีกเลย มิหนำซ้ำ DSI และอัยการ ยังอายัดเงินที่ควรคืนสหกรณ์ฯ 3,800 ล้านบาท และทราบมาว่า สหกรณ์เตรียมฟ้องอาญา หากยังไม่ยอมคืนเงินที่อายัดไป
2.3 รัฐบาลแจ้งว่าจะช่วย 10,000 ล้านบาท ทุกวันนี้ยังไม่มีเงินช่วยเหลือสหกรณ์เลย
2.4 เมื่อสหกรณ์ได้รับการเยียวยาจากศิษย์วัดแล้ว ความเสียหายของสหกรณ์ในส่วนที่ศุภชัยนำมาบริจาคให้หลวงพ่อจึงหมดไปแล้ว สหกรณ์ถอนแจ้งความแล้ว เรื่องนี้จึงไม่เจ้าทุกข์แล้ว
2.5 ณ ปัจจุบันรัฐบาลทุ่มงบประมาณไม่ต่ำกว่า 48 ล้านบาท (อัตราวันละ 3 ล้านบาท) เพื่ิอนำกองกำลังมาตามจับหลวงพ่อธัมมชโย โดยอ้างเหตุความเสียหายของสมาชิกสหกรณ์ ซึ่งไม่เกี่ยวกับหลวงพ่อแล้ว การดำเนินการเช่นนี้รัฐบาลมีเจตนาแอบแฝงอะไรหรือไม่? ทำเพื่อสมาชิกสหกรณ์หรือเพื่อเจตนาแอบแฝงอื่นๆ อีกอะไรหรือไม่ ขอให้รัฐบาลช่วยให้คำตอบด้วย
2.6 ทำไมไม่เอางบประมาณกว่า 48 ล้านไปช่วยสมาชิกสหกรณ์ที่กำลังลำบาก ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อสหกรณ์บ้าง มีอะไรแอบแฝงหรือไม่?
2.7 เจ้าหน้าที่ทหารตำรวจ มีหน้าที่ปกป้องบ้านเมืองและประชาชน แต่ทุกวันนี้กองกำลังจำนวนมากที่มาปิดล้อมวัดพระธรรมกายไม่ได้ช่วยเหลือประชาชน แต่ตรงข้ามกลับมีเหตุการณ์ที่กองกำลังปิดกั้นรถพยาบาลที่จะเข้าไปช่วย เหลือคนป่วยในพื้นที่ควบคุมพิเศษ จนกระทั่งคนป่วยต้องเสียชีวิต จากคนป่วยกลายเป็นคนตาย

(3) ความเคลื่อนไหวจากองค์กรต่างประเทศ
3.1 กรณีการประชุมองค์กรพุทธโลก ณ เมืองพูซาน ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ ขอแจ้งว่า กรณีวัดพระธรรมกายไม่มีในวาระการประชุมปกติ แต่ยืนยันว่า มีใน “วาระจร” ที่ถูกหยิบยกขึ้นมาอธิปรายอย่างเร่งด่วนและกว้างขวาง เนื่องจากวัดพระธรรมกายซึ่งเป็นองค์กรพุทธไทย ที่ถูกละเมิดสิทธิมนุษยชนอย่างร้ายแรง
3.2 ขณะนี้ทางกระทรวงต่างประเทศ ของประเทศอังกฤษ Foreign and Commonwealth Office ได้ตอบรับเรื่องของวัดพระธรรมกายแล้ว และแจ้งว่า จะนำเรื่องนี้ส่งต่อให้ผู้เกี่ยวข้อง ทั้งท่านเอกอัครราชทูตอังกฤษประจำประเทศไทย และรัฐมนตรีกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ Alok Sharma MP จะได้เข้าพูดคุยเรื่องสิทธิมนุษยชนและเสรีภาพทางการนับถือศาสนา กับ พล.อ. ประยุทธ จันทร์โอชา ต่อไป
3.3 สมาคมชาวพุทธทวีปยุโรป ยืนยันว่า มีการยื่นหนังสือร้องเรียนต่อ UN กรณีวัดพระธรรมกายถูกละเมิดสิทธิมนุษยชน จากรัฐบาลที่ใช้ ม.44 ที่สำนักงานข้าหลวงใหญ่องค์กรสหประชาติ
